SHD is a multi-disciplinary art and design studio founded on the belief that space impacts people and their lived-in environment. The emotionally intelligent ones decide what they put in their space. . . what inspires their imaginations and forces them to reconnect to the natural world. We like giant leaps that will propel us all forward, creativity and sustainable design full of imperfections and hand made cliches that speak of authenticity. We specialise in site specificity in mosaic and stained glass.

To celebrate of our 30th anniversary in 2024, we’re mixing things up a bit. While still incorporating our signature site-specific architectural mosaics and stained glass as place-making statements, we are returning to past loves of interior design and raw production methods in unique textiles, concrete, and tile.

Scott believes in creating positive workplace that develops and integrates diversity and inclusion amongst his team. He loves to cook a daily staff lunch!
